In February 2022, Selkirk LABS introduced the Macro ProSpin pickleball racket, marking the birth of the first LABS product line - the Selkirk LABS Project 001 racket. This is a breakthrough in the pickleball industry, allowing Selkirk to bring new innovations and experiments to enhance the player experience.
With the participation of Selkirk LABS members, Project 001 was beta tested and feedback from real players was provided, thereby continuously improving Selkirk's research and development process. In July 2022, Selkirk LABS gave away Project 001 racquets with updated head textures for free to members who fully participated and provided feedback by July 31, 2022.
Although the Selkirk LABS Project 001 racket did not make it into Selkirk’s official product line after the research and development process, the creativity and valuable contributions from the program members provided Selkirk with valuable experience. This product line will officially be discontinued in April 2023, but it remains an important milestone in Selkirk’s creative journey.
