The Tenon series is Ronbus's 4th generation, and the name says it all: an EPP/EVA foam core connected via a mortise-and-tenon joint—borrowed from woodworking—is enveloped by an elastic layer and integrated into a high-strength carbon frame. The result is a paddle that's stable and powerful on hard swings, yet soft and quiet on blocks or dinks. No honeycomb, no plastic, no core collapse worries. On top is Ronbus's NanoBond raw carbon surface, bonded at a nano-level for long-lasting grit—and spin.

Mortise-and-Tenon EPP/EVA Core — Durable, No Collapse

The mortise-and-tenon EPP/EVA foam core provides strength and durability at the paddle's heart, while the elastic layer attached to the carbon frame creates targeted flexibility—stable power on swings, soft dampening on light touches. Designed to resist the delamination and core collapse common in thermoformed paddles.

NanoBond Raw Carbon Surface — Long-Lasting Spin

The nanobonded network within the carbon fiber matrix makes the surface highly abrasion-resistant, maintaining its spin-generating texture far longer than conventional peel-ply raw carbon.

WHO IS IT FOR?

All-court players who want a paddle that does everything without clear weaknesses. The Hybrid shape balances the reach of an Elongated with the stability of a Widebody—and is the most forgiving Tenon of the 4 versions. The highest twist weight in the series (6.61) provides the largest and most stable sweet spot—off-center hits hold their line better than any other Tenon. Skill level 3.0 and up—the safest choice and best default recommendation.
